Trotter was invited to join Alejandro Cao de Benos, Special Delegate in the Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Government of the DPR of Korea, on his trip in late 2007. Charles F. Gray a.k.a. Atari Charles our Canadian contact for North Korea(DPRK) spoke with Alejandro Cao de Benos and arranged Trotter's Trip into the DPRK. Trotter got the VIP treatment and was welcomed by other delegates of the committee. The photos above show some of the sights Trotter was shown on his tour through North Korea's Capital city, Pyongyang, and also the Special city, Nampho.

Alejandro shared the following anecdote with me by e-mail about how everybody wanted to make friends with Trotter:

"DPR Korea doesn't have ATARI, but normally used/uses Nintendo consoles. At the beginning all Koreans felt very curious about what the trotter was. After explaining, everybody thought it was a very good idea for improving friendship among world's people. The rest of the group too, participating from the Ministry of Defense of Canada to Italian businessmen wanted to see and touch the trotter. Indeed the italians spontaneously grabbed it from my hand and asked me to take the photo."
